The Victorian State Government of Victoria has selected AquaSure to deliver the Victorian Desalination Project.

AquaSure will finance, design, build, operate and maintain Australia’s largest desalination plant on the South Gippsland coast, near the town of Wonthaggi. The plant will be capable of supplying up to 150 billion litres of fresh drinking water each year – more than a third of Melbourne’s annual water needs.

This vital project will secure Victoria’s future water supply independent of rainfall by the end of 2011.
